Police are investigating the discovery of a man’s decomposed body inside a vehicle in Cunupia on Thursday afternoon.

Around 4 p.m., officers from the Las Lomas Police Post responded to a report and found a black Subaru Legacy wagon (PCP 3487) parked in front of an unfinished house at LP #158 Chin Chin Road. A foul stench was emanating from the vehicle.

Upon opening the unlocked door, officers discovered the body of a man, identified only as John Doe, lying across the front passenger and rear seats. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition, with the car keys still in the ignition.
