Three masked men at­tacked a fam­i­ly at their Pe­nal home late Mon­day night, killing a 62-year-old re­tiree dur­ing a vi­o­lent rob­bery.

Around 10:35 p.m., Suresh Ram­sumir, his wife Jas­so­dra, and their son Andy re­turned home af­ter J’Ou­vert cel­e­bra­tions. As they ex­it­ed their car, the armed men am­bushed them and forced them up­stairs, de­mand­ing mon­ey.

The sus­pects tied Jas­so­dra and Andy’s hands be­fore ran­sack­ing the house. They stole Jas­so­dra’s hand­bag and Suresh’s wal­let, then forced Suresh to kneel in the liv­ing room, where they shot him. The men es­caped on foot.
