A 35-year-old Clarendon truck driver has been charged after allegedly fabricating a report to the police that he was hijacked and robbed at gunpoint and instead stealing the items.
Choy Shaw, otherwise called ‘Risy’, of Palmer Cross, has been charged with creating public mischief, larceny of motor vehicle and larceny as a servant following an incident in May Pen, Clarendon, on Wednesday, August 5.
According to the May Pen police, Shaw was hired to transport items for a client.
