The Amer­i­can Cham­ber of Com­merce of Trinidad and To­ba­go (AM­CHAM T&T) has signed a Mem­o­ran­dum of Un­der­stand­ing (MOU) with Fu­ture­Plus, a Unit­ed King­dom-based sus­tain­abil­i­ty man­age­ment and ESG re­port­ing plat­form.

The agree­ment was for­malised dur­ing Part II of AM­CHAM T&T’s 2025 ESG Con­fer­ence: Peo­ple, Pur­pose & Progress – Ac­ti­vat­ing the “S” in ESG, held at the Hy­att Re­gency, Port of Spain, on Sep­tem­ber 16. The con­fer­ence brought to­geth­er busi­ness lead­ers, pol­i­cy­mak­ers, and civ­il so­ci­ety rep­re­sen­ta­tives to ex­am­ine how the “S” in ESG can in­flu­ence work­places, com­mu­ni­ties, and long-term plan­ning.

The MOU pro­vides AM­CHAM T&T mem­bers ac­cess to the Fu­ture­Plus plat­form at dis­count­ed rates. The plat­form en­ables com­pa­nies, in­vestors, and as­set man­agers to mea­sure, man­age, and re­port on en­vi­ron­men­tal, so­cial, and gov­er­nance (ESG) per­for­mance across five themes: cli­mate, en­vi­ron­ment, so­cial, eco­nom­ic, and di­ver­si­ty and in­clu­sion.
