A Sangre Grande man has been granted $100,000 bail after appearing before the South High Court on charges linked to a missing police firearm from the Mayaro police station.
Azam Ali appeared before Master Raydon Dalrymple-Watts yesterday, charged with misbehaviour in public office, possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.
The court granted bail with surety and ordered Ali to remain at his Sangre Grande home, surrender his passport within two days of securing bail and refrain from obtaining travel documents.
