Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has said Opposition Leader Pennelope Beckles is making a huge mistake by supporting a “narco government” and not standing in defence of the law-abiding citizens of Trinidad and Tobago.

Persad-Bissessar also continued her criticism of Caricom, pointing to similarities between the regional body and the People’s National Movement in their stance against the actions of the United States to deal with drug traffickers.
