Min­is­ter in the Min­istry of Hous­ing, Anil Roberts says he is sad­dened by re­ports that a man who was in­jured in a ve­hic­u­lar ac­ci­dent in which he had been in­volved on Sat­ur­day, had died af­ter spend­ing two days at hos­pi­tal.

In a brief re­sponse to Guardian Me­dia even as he ex­tend­ed con­do­lences to the vic­tim’s fam­i­ly and friends dur­ing his Sen­ate con­tri­bu­tion, Roberts agreed it was “ex­treme­ly” sad that the vic­tim iden­ti­fied on­ly as Kern al­so known as Ma­trix of El So­cor­ro South had passed.

He urged mo­torists to ex­er­cise “more care and con­sid­er­a­tion,” when tra­vers­ing the na­tion’s roads.
