JAMAICA’S Oblique Seville and Nigeria’s Kayinsola Ajayi are set to clash in the men’s 100m on the second day of the Wanda Diamond League meeting, the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial in Silesia, Poland.
The race will give Seville another opportunity to end Ajayi’s dominance over him this season, with the Nigerian having beaten the Jamaican at the Prefontaine Classic and the London Diamond League meeting. Ajayi will be competing for the first time since finishing third in the men’s 100m at the Commonwealth Games.
The Silesia meeting is the penultimate regular-season Diamond League meeting before Thursday’s meeting in Zurich, which will be the last event before the Diamond League final in September.
