World Champion Oblique Seville says his men’s 100m victory at the Wanda Diamond League meeting in Silesia, Poland, on Sunday, sets him up well for the remainder of the season.

The Jamaican ran a meet record 9.83 seconds (1.4m/s) during the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial, effectively securing his place in the Diamond League final set for Brussells, Belgium, in two weeks.

Kenny Bednarek ran a season’s best 9.87 for second and fellow American Christian Coleman was third in 9.93. Jamaican Ackeem Blake ran 10.26 in his first-round race and failed to advance.
