The planned transfer of responsibilities for the Lake View Housing Development in Point Fortin to a dedicated management company is being delayed by land ownership issues.
Minister in the Ministry of Housing Phillip Alexander said Point Fortin MP Ernesto Kesar and the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) are working to establish a management company that would eventually assume responsibility for the development.
However, he said the process cannot be completed until ownership of the land is transferred.
