Police are investigating a robbery with violence in the Arima district after a 33-year-old man was stabbed and beaten during a hold-up early Sunday morning.
The victim reported that around 1 a.m. he was walking east along Arima Old Road near Aqui Lane when he was approached by two men who announced a robbery.
One suspect, described as a light brown-skinned man of slim build, about 5 ft 8 in tall, was wearing a grey long-sleeve hoodie, black pants and green-and-white sneakers, and carried a side bag. He was armed with a knife.
