Investigators probing a double homicide in Penal on Sunday night are seeking to determine how Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS)-issued ammunition ended up at the crime scene after officers recovered both spent and live rounds bearing police markings.
The discovery was made after gunmen opened fire at a house along Rock Road, Penal, killing two men and wounding a third.
Dead are 23-year-old Jahrael Akeel Tafari Hunte of Ramesar Reyes Trace, Syne Village, Penal, and 45-year-old Randolph Felix of Rock Road, Penal.
