Win a ‘wonderful coincidence’ on UNC’s 36th anniversary

Prime Minister-elect Kamla Persad-Bissessar has stated that it is a “wonderful coincidence” that the United National Congress (UNC) has regained government as the party marks its “extraordinary” 36th anniversary.

She pledged to serve with “strength, integrity, and compassion”.

In a release issued by the party yesterday, Persad-Bissessar, who has served as political leader for the past 15 years, expressed her gratitude to the membership.
