InterCaribbean Airways will launch direct service between Barbados and Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, on March 6, 2026. The Turks and Caicos-based carrier confirmed via social media that Port of Spain is among five new destinations to be serviced through its Barbados hub, joining Tortola, Georgetown, Sint Maarten, and the airline’s home base in the Turks and Caicos. The airline will operate four weekly flights to Trinidad on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays using its ATR 42-500 fleet.
The airline says this will offer 20 one-stop connections within the Caribbean via Barbados.
The flights are still pending regulatory approval.
