Police are investigating a second homicide in the Reform Village community in under a week, following another deadly incident that has not yet been solved.
Shortly before daybreak on Sunday, the burnt body of a man was found on Railway Road, off Reform Road in Reform Village, Gasparillo, near a burnt-out vehicle. Police said the body was a man of African descent, approximately five feet, six inches tall.
Detectives of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations of Region Three, and officers of the Ste Madeleine and Gasparillo Police Stations responded. A district medical officer ordered the body removed to the mortuary of the San Fernando General Hospital.
