Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the mur­der of a 20-year-old Diego Mar­tin woman whose body was dis­cov­ered in Carlsen Field ear­ly Sat­ur­day morn­ing.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice, of­fi­cers from the Freeport Po­lice Sta­tion re­spond­ed to a re­port of a body found along Xeres Road around 7.10 am. When they ar­rived, they dis­cov­ered the body of Sa­van­na Dy­er.

A dis­trict med­ical of­fi­cer was called to the scene and of­fi­cial­ly de­clared her dead.
