PoÂlice are curÂrentÂly at the scene of a murÂder at the Queen’s Park SaÂvanÂnah (QPS). The vicÂtim, who has been idenÂtiÂfied as MaÂsud ProsÂper, 49, from BelÂmont, was shot mulÂtiÂple times at around 5.30 pm while he sat in a black Lancer car, which had been parked in the parkÂing area in front of the food court.
RelÂaÂtives say he had gone to pick up his nine-year-old son from footÂball pracÂtice when the shootÂing ocÂcurred. The boy reÂportÂedÂly witÂnessed his faÂther’s killing.
While the inÂciÂdent forced some peoÂple to abanÂdon their daiÂly exÂerÂcise, many othÂers conÂtinÂued their norÂmal rouÂtines.
