Kidnap victim Jankie Satie Karim has been freed.

Shortly after 5 p.m. yesterday, police received information that Karim was found in a forested area off the Eastern Main Road, Matura. Up to last night, how she was found as well as her physical condition remained unknown.

A team of officers led by Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro responded and the top cop was expected to address the media at the Matura Police Station following the discovery.
