Kidnapped victim Jankie Satie Karim has been freed. 

Based on initial information, shortly after 5 p.m. Monday police received information about Karim being found in a forested area off the Eastern Main Road, Matura. 

A team of officers led by Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro responded and the top cop was expected to address the media at the Matura Police Station following the discovery.
