CPO stands firm on 40% cash, 60% non-cash PSA offer

The Government is holding firm on its offer to settle outstanding wage negotiations with the Public Services Association (PSA), maintaining that public officers would receive 40 per cent of their arrears in cash and 60 per cent through non-cash benefits.

Chief Personnel Officer Dr Daryl Dindial reiterated the position during a meeting with the PSA president and executive at the Personnel Department yesterday.

Dindial said the offer remained the Government’s final position and represented a responsible approach to preserving jobs in the Public Service.
