DOWNTOWN Kingston’s waterfront became a playground of paint, foam, and water as hundreds of revellers welcomed daylight in a spectacularly colourful fashion at the Xodus Wet Music Festival on Saturday.
Staged at Port Spectrum, the cooler-friendly event brought rum, food, and infectious Caribbean rhythms together for a morning in which where drenched was part of the pleasure and leaving spotless was practically impossible. The venue was already full by 4:00 am, with patrons ready to surrender to the music.
As dawn gave way to daylight, the party revealed its full palette — paint-covered bodies, foam-flecked hair, and smiling faces that wore the evidence of a thoroughly good time.
