A 37-year-old St James man has been charged with the murÂder of 49-year-old MirisÂsia Weekes, who died at the Port of Spain GenÂerÂal HosÂpiÂtal afÂter alÂlegedÂly beÂing shot.
ChristoÂpher TranÂcoso, alÂso known as “ManÂny”, of DunÂdonÂald Hill, apÂpeared beÂfore MasÂter InÂdiÂra Chinebas on WednesÂday and was charged with the ofÂfence.
Weekes, of St James, was adÂmitÂted to the Port of Spain GenÂerÂal HosÂpiÂtal on AuÂgust 28, alÂlegedÂly sufÂferÂing from gunÂshot wounds. She died at the hosÂpiÂtal latÂer that day.
