Police say an attempted overtaking manoeuvre along the Southern Main Road, Freeport, triggered the chain-reaction crash that left two men dead and two others injured on Monday night.
According to investigators, the accident occurred around 10.15 p.m., near Idrees Marketing.
Police said a white Nissan Caravan was travelling south along the Southern Main Road, with a white Nissan Tiida following behind it. As both vehicles passed the Idrees Marketing area, the driver of the Tiida allegedly attempted to overtake the Caravan.
