Three of the 61 registered nurses hired by the North Central Regional Health Authority have walked off the job, citing poor working conditions.
This was confirmed by Trinidad and Tobago National Nursing Association (TTNNA) head Idi Stuart in a telephone interview with the Saturday Express yesterday.
He said the nurses, who were newly qualified, had been placed in the same position as all other nurses working at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt Hope.
