Ten Venezuelan nationals were detained after police intercepted a vessel off Erin yesterday morning.
Around 7:05 am, officers of the South Western Division stopped the vessel about one mile from shore. The detainees, ages seven to 25, were handed over to officials from the Immigration Department and the Children’s Authority.
Investigations are continuing.
