CHIEF executive officer of the National Agricultural Marketing and Development Corporation (Namdevco) Nirmala Debysingh has gone on administrative leave following issues that arose during board meetings at the corporation.

This was confirmed yesterday by Namdevco's chairman, Vidia Gayadeen-Gopeesingh, who told the Express that Debysingh has been on leave since August 3.

Yesterday, a letter written by the corporation's human resources manager was widely circulated online, indicating that Debysingh had proceeded on administrative leave.
