An employee of the United National Congress Caroni East constituency office has been placed on immediate administrative leave after allegations involving the staff member surfaced on social media.
In a statement issued yesterday, Caroni East MP Dr Rishad Seecheran said the office became aware of allegations involving one of its employees that had been circulating on Facebook.
“Upon being made aware of these allegations, immediate administrative action was taken. The employee in question has been sent on administrative leave with immediate effect, pending an investigation by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service,” the statement said.
