Aranguez/St. Joseph MP Devesh Maharaj said the government’s partnership with Wasa will insure a speedy, six-week fix to a booster station on Mt D'Or Road, Champs Fleurs, which has been down for around three years.
The situation has left many citizens living at the top of the hills dependent on truck-borne water.
During a site visit on September 29, acting WASA CEO Jeevan Joseph said the issue stemmed from the pump in the booster station being relocated without a replacement.
