A woman who was repaid more than $1 million by a Portmore car salesman accused of collecting money for vehicles he never delivered has told the court the payment isn't enough, insisting she is still owed more.
The dispute emerged when Adrian Cope appeared in the St Catherine Parish Court on Tuesday to answer charges of fraudulent conversion, breaches of the Consumer Protection Act and deceptive conduct.
When the matter was called before Senior Parish Court Judge Desiree Alleyne, the court was informed that several complainants had already received restitution.
