Relative: Senseless killing

THE RELATIVE of a woman who was shot dead on Friday has described the incident as a senseless killing.

In an emotional plea yesterday, a relative of 49-year-old Mirissia Weekes, of Dundonald Hill, St James, called for an end to gun violence.

The relative, who asked to go unnamed, said Weekes, a mother of four, did not deserve to ‘die like that’.
