A truck belonging to a road construction crew was set on fire on Tuesday afternoon at Vigilance Public Road as a group of persons attempted to prevent Police from executing a search warrant at a home linked to United States-sanctioned Mark “Demon” Cromwell.
Reports are that the Police went to the area to search the property as part of investigations into the disappearance of two Surinamese men, 28-year-old Van Dalen Siegiëllo Lorenzo and 29-year-old Derryl Danillo.
Persons in the area obstructed the Police search and set debris alight on the roadway to prevent the ranks from carrying out the operation.
