FIVE stickfighters will attempt to dethrone defending national stickfighting champion O’Neil Odle at the National Carnival Commission (NCC) National Stick Fighting Competition Finals 2025 at Skinner Park on Wednesday. 

In a release Thursday from the NCC following last night’s semifinals, Daniel Barclay, Selwyn John (former champion), Ronald Lewis, Anderson Marcano and Wendell Wright join Odle as the six finalists for Wednesday’s finale. 

The five can expect a tough battle as the defending champion is also a four-time winner of the competition.
