One man has been arrested and ammunition and cannabis seized following two separate anti-crime exercises in the Port of Spain and Western Divisions between Wednesday night and early Thursday.

In the first operation, officers from the Belmont and Besson Street Police Stations and the Canine Unit conducted an overnight intelligence-led raid as part of Operation Resolute Shield.

Acting on information, officers searched houses in Gonzales, Belmont Valley Road, Snake Valley, Laventille Road, Perseverance Lane and Plover Street.
