One day after police appealed to the public for help identifying two men involved in a violent confrontation in Barataria, one of the suspects was identified as a 36-year-old employee of the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA).
Reports indicate that the labourer was at Nix on the Six Bar along Sixth Avenue, Barataria, around 5.15 am on Saturday when he allegedly became involved in an altercation with another patron.
Police said the WASA employee allegedly stabbed the victim, described as an African male approximately six feet tall, with a broken bottle.
