‘It’s vengeance and vindictiveness’: Pan Trinbago blasts Culture Ministry

'I'M fed up. I'm alarmed. We are fed up of the disrespect. It's vengeance. Vindictiveness.'

So said Pan Trinbago president Beverley Ramsey-Moore after a planned cheque distribution ceremony for the organisation and the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival Bands Association yesterday at Tower C, International Waterfront Centre, Wrightson Road, Port of Spain, failed to materialise.

The Culture Ministry, in a release on Tuesday, announced that Culture Minister Michelle Benjamin would distribute outstanding prize monies yesterday with Pan Trinbago and TTCBA scheduled to receive four cheques totalling $24,291,734.09.
