Two weeks afÂter an atÂtempt on the life of a San FerÂnanÂdo busiÂnessÂman’s daughÂter, a 21-year-old emÂployÂee of a car dealÂerÂship linked to R&J Cell Tech was shot and killed earÂliÂer toÂday. The vicÂtim, SalÂim AbÂdool, susÂtained a gunÂshot wound to the chest and was unÂderÂgoÂing emerÂgency surgery but latÂer died.
Around 1 p.m., he was driÂving a ToyÂota Hilux beÂhind anÂothÂer comÂpaÂny veÂhiÂcle along the GolÂconÂda ConÂnecÂtor Road when, near the VMÂCOTT inÂterÂsecÂtion, anÂothÂer veÂhiÂcle pulled alongÂside and opened fire.
On May 13, the busiÂnessÂman’s daughÂter was tarÂgetÂed while driÂving her Range Rover along the South Trunk Road. A NisÂsan B14 struck her veÂhiÂcle near the Cross CrossÂing InÂterÂchange, then pulled up beÂside her. The driÂver opened the front pasÂsenÂger door and fired two shots. She was unÂharmed and drove to the poÂlice staÂtion.
