Sco­tia­bank has named two new se­nior ex­ec­u­tives for its Caribbean South and East re­gions.

In no­tices post­ed to the Trinidad and To­ba­go Stock Ex­change and pub­lished in the me­dia, Am­bi­ca Bisses­sar was named Head, Re­tail Bank­ing Caribbean South & East, while In­gram Bain was an­nounced as Di­rec­tor, Com­pli­ance, Caribbean South & East. Both ap­point­ments took ef­fect on Wednes­day, April 1, 2026.

Ac­cord­ing to the no­tice, Bisses­sar is a high­ly re­spect­ed bank­ing leader with near­ly two decades of ser­vice at Sco­tia­bank, with mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary ex­pe­ri­ence across fi­nance, trea­sury, trade fi­nance, cor­po­rate and com­mer­cial bank­ing, as well as re­tail and small busi­ness bank­ing. Her ed­u­ca­tion­al back­ground in­cludes a post­grad­u­ate qual­i­fi­ca­tion in Busi­ness Ad­min­is­tra­tion, with a spe­cial­ism in In­ter­na­tion­al Trade and Fi­nance from the Ed­in­burgh Busi­ness School, Heri­ot-Watt Uni­ver­si­ty.
