The dead man has been identified as Christopher Joseph, 20, of Brasso Village. His older brother, Colly Joseph, 23, and two teenagers, 16-year-old Darius Shadrack and 15-year-old Jerell Ganesh, both students of Tabaquite Secondary School, were also shot multiple times during the assault.
The victims were liming in a one-room plywood shack along the Caparo Valley Brasso Road around 2 a.m. when two gunmen entered and opened fire. Police said the attackers did not say a word before they started shooting.
