Kidnap victim buried at Heights of Guanapo after $15,000 ransom paid

Rel­a­tives of kid­nap vic­tim Ker­ry Von Adams wept open­ly yes­ter­day as they con­firmed the body found buried un­der a pile of grass at the Heights of Gua­napo, Ari­ma, was in­deed him.

Von Adams, 35, of Old Pi­ar­co Road, Red Hill, D’Abadie was last seen alive around 11 pm on Ju­ly 5, af­ter telling his fam­i­ly he was head­ed to a bar in Ari­ma.

He was last heard from on Ju­ly 6, af­ter he called a fe­male rel­a­tive around 12.45 am and said he ur­gent­ly need­ed $15,000 in cash. An un­known man would lat­er di­rect the woman to drop the mon­ey off at a lo­ca­tion in Ari­ma, but his fam­i­ly’s hopes that he would re­turn to them alive were dashed when a farmer stum­bled up­on the buried body in his gar­den.
