A routine trip by parents to drop off their son at his daycare turned deadly yesterday morning, after gunmen intercepted their car and ambushed them in Belmont.
Anthony “Monster” Wilson, 28, and Aquil “Fats” Kafi, 30, died along Upper St Francois Valley Road after the attack around 8.35 am.
Kafi’s 23-month-old son, Akini, later succumbed to his injuries at the Port-of-Spain General Hospital (PoSGH), while his mother, Antonia Cain-Kafi, 36, remained warded in a critical condition last night.
