Chief SecĀreĀtary FarĀley AuĀgusĀtine says the new govĀernĀment has made a strong start in its first 100 days in ofĀfice since the April 28 GenĀerĀal ElecĀtion.
SpeakĀing to the meĀdia, he praised Prime MinĀisĀter KamĀla PerĀsad-BissesĀsar for beĀing more conĀfiĀdent and asĀsertive this time around.
āI think we have a govĀernĀment that seems inĀsisĀtent on deĀlivĀerĀing on what they have promised,ā AuĀgusĀtine said. āWe have a sense of asĀsertiveĀness from the Prime MinĀisĀter that we did not get the first time aroundā¦ very conĀfiĀdent in the steps that they are takĀing.ā
