Surinamese duo allegedly missing en route to Guyana via boat

The Guyana Police Force (GPF) is appealing to members of the public for information that could assist in locating two men who have been missing since late August, after reportedly travelling from Suriname with plans to enter Guyana via boat.
The missing men have been identified as 28-year-old Van Dalen Siegiëllo Lorenzo and 29-year-old Derryl Danillo.
According to the Police, both men left their respective residences on Friday, August 28, 2026, in a white Toyota Vitz. They were reportedly heading in the direction of Nickerie, Suriname. They were last seen on Saturday, August 29, after reportedly exiting the vehicle at Clarasluis (Clara Sluice), Nickerie.
