Paraguay has declared Tuesday a national holiday following its shocking victory over Germany in the Round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to Reuters, President Santiago Peña signed the decree after Paraguay knocked out the four-time world champions, winning 4-3 on penalties after the teams were tied 1-1 following extra time on Monday.
