Trinidad and Tobago’s two-time Olympic medallist Keshorn Walcott ended his run of five major meets without a medal when he copped the bronze medal at the Wanda Diamond League in Brussels, Belgium on Saturday.
This was after the 33-year-old Walcott, a former Olympic gold and bronze medal javelin throw winner, had a best attempt of 83.99 m, a season best on his first of six attempts in the seven-man final.
Walcott also had efforts of 79.20m, 83.58m, 80.09m, 82.04m and 78.02m.
