Protests at the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) came to a halt yesterday after Public Utilities Minister Barry Padarath reassured the Public Services Association (PSA) that Government would honour its pre-election promises to workers.
He also WASA to expedite action on outstanding matters related to wage negotiations.
Padarath met with PSA president Felisha Thomas and members of the union at WASA’s head office in St Joseph yesterday morning and earlier walked hand in hand with her as they entered the WASA compound.
