Four employees at Ramco Industries Ltd remained in hospital last night after they sustained burns to their faces, neck and arms in Thursday night’s explosion and fire at the company’s Cross Crossing, San Fernando, plant.
Two underwent surgery while the other two were treated at the intensive care and high dependence units at the San Fernando General Hospital.
Nyron Dewsbury, of New Grant, and Vedesh Harripersad, of Williamsville, underwent surgery while Ashook Sahadeo, of Lengua, and Chris Jaggai, of Penal, were treated at the high dependency and intensive care units, and were listed in critical condition, police said.
