Emer­gency re­spon­ders are on the scene of a trag­ic crash in­volv­ing a Pub­lic Trans­port Ser­vice Cor­po­ra­tion (PTSC) bus in Freeport, which has claimed two lives and left sev­er­al oth­ers in­jured.

Of­fi­cials con­firmed that bus dri­ver Mustapha Khan and pas­sen­ger Rox­anne Phillip, a se­cu­ri­ty of­fi­cer at­tached to SWAT, both died in the col­li­sion. Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, the PTSC deluxe bus was head­ing south along the Solomon Ho­choy High­way when, on pass­ing the Freeport over­pass, it slammed in­to the rear of a flatbed truck.

The truck dri­ver suf­fered mi­nor in­juries, but Khan died at the scene. Phillip al­so lost her life and re­mained trapped be­neath the wreck­age.
