The driver of a Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC) Deluxe passenger bus died along with a passenger when the vehicle slammed into the rear end of a flat bed truck as they travelled south, along the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway, near Freeport.

The crash happened shortly after 8am on Tuesday.

Police confirmed the bus driver and a female security officer employed with SWAT died at the scene.
