The Arima Town Hall was reopened yesterday on what would have been the 50th birthday of former DāAbadie/OāMeara MP Lisa Morris-Julian.
The reopening, at Sorzano Street, Arima, came after the tenures of three mayors and three local government ministers.
Delivering the feature address to mark the occasion, Opposition Leader and Arima MP Pennelope Beckles acknowledged that the work of three mayors, beginning with Morris-Julian in 2019, was responsible for the completion of the town hall.
