KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Transport Operators Development Sustainable Service (TODSS) is calling for a thorough investigation into Friday’s deadly two-vehicle crash along the Salt Marsh main road in Falmouth, Trelawny, which claimed seven lives.
In a statement issued on Friday, the organisation said the tragedy was a grim reminder of a similar crash in the same area on July 6, 2025, which claimed the lives of five people, including four transport operators.
“Of interest, this area where the crash took place formed part of a discussion we had at the National Road Safety Council meeting on Thursday, July 16, 2026,” the organisation noted.
